Overview
RFMA educational session tracks will help you find creative methods and resources to evolve your business and your career. Whether you’re climbing the corporate ladder or interested in improving your knowledge skills in your current position, let our industry experts, professional speakers and training consultants provide you with the tools to achieve your goals.
We are a paperless conference for 2010. There will be no handouts distributed on-site. Speakers will provide handout materials for their educational sessions in advance for you to print prior to or after returning home from the conference. These handouts will be made available next to the session listing on the Education Schedule-at-a-Glance as they become available.
RFMA 2010 will feature:
1 - Keynote from Industry Leader Doug Brooks, Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer, Brinker International
11 - Technical Sessions These sessions are developed and presented by industry experts within the restaurant industry.
6 - Rockhurst University Sessions These sessions are CEU accredited!
1 - Restaurant Roundtable Session The Restaurant Roundtable Session is for restaurateurs only! There will be 20 table topics to choose from during each 45 minute rotation. This session will provide an opportunity for restaurant members to sit across the table from their peers and share concerns and best-practices relating to the hottest industry topics.
1 - Restaurant Best Practices/Benchmarking Session On Tuesday the session will be a "Best Practices/Benchmarking" opportunity. This session will be divided into groups by the type of restaurant you represent; Quick Serve, Casual Dining, Fine Dining, Multi Brand Chains or Franchisees. Bring your Best Practices and Benchmarking information that you are able to share and network with peers in your industry to improve your processes!
4 - Signature Speakers We’ve brought in some of the finest professionals in their fields, with a focus on improving your interpersonal and leadership skills. So please take advantage of as many sessions as your schedule allows.
1 - Vendor Voice Session Vendor attendees are invited to this session to meet with Susan Daywitt, Vendor Representative to the Board of Directors, and other RFMA vendor committee cochairs and leaders. This will be an open forum to discuss issues affecting our vendor members and to share ideas on how to make RFMA more responsive to the vendors needs. In addition there will be a Signature Speaker presentation especially for this vendor session.
